Our Mission.

To eliminate the violence endured by disabled BIPOC Individuals. Promote justice, healing, and education of racialized and disability-oriented violence.

About Empowered Existence.

Empowered Existence was established on September 20th of 2023, after recognizing the need for culturally specific victim services. We provide services to disabled BIPOC survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, stalking, and interpersonal gun violence.

Empowered Existence was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to culturally responsive healing services, regardless of their financial situation. We offer a range of services, from holistic healing to court support, all designed to support individuals on their journey towards healing and empowerment. We understand that the healing process looks different for everyone, and we are committed to helping individuals find the tools and supports they need to thrive.

While our services are designed for disabled BIPOC survivors we also provide specific attention and support to our LGBTQIA+ survivor population.

Empowered Existence staff members meet in facilities that are ADA-accessible, sensory-friendly, and privacy-centered. We make strong efforts to ensure our environment is welcoming and inclusive to all.

We serve black, brown, indigenous, Latinx, AAPI, people of color; who have an overlapping intersection of an intellectual, developmental, physical, or psychological disability.

Every person deserves assistance and support, no matter the barriers or adversities they may face.
